The image tools on HandyVale work with the browser's built-in file and canvas features. When you choose a file, the browser reads it from your device into memory, performs the operation locally, and lets you download the result. At no point is your file transmitted to HandyVale's servers or to any third party.
Because of this, we cannot see, store, copy, or recover your files — and we have no way to access them.
Like almost all websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may automatically log standard technical information when your browser requests a page — such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request. This is used for security and to keep the site running. We do not use it to identify you.
HandyVale is free to use and may in the future display third-party advertising to cover its running costs. If and when we display ads:

The core tools on this site do not need cookies to work. If advertising or analytics are added later, cookies may be set by those third parties; we will disclose this and, where required, obtain consent.
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
